Health Education & Cancer Prevention Curricula
Tools for a Lifetime of Health
In 2002, the Road of Life – Cancer Prevention for Kids program was created by a group of teachers, scientists, industry experts, and students to combat chronic disease and obesity in children under the age of 18.
Seven (7) programs were developed for a variety of different teaching environments, all of which adhere to all 50 state teaching standards. These curricula are integrating into the subjects educators are already teaching their students – math, reading, science, and writing.
In a short amount of time, Road of Life’s comprehensive cancer prevention curriculum has made a n enormous impact on children in the Columbus, Ohio area. The Elementary Classroom Curriculum was piloted in the Columbus Public Schools just one year after Road of Life’s inception, and has since enjoyed amazing growth to become served tens of thousands of children all over the world.
