Prior to producing the 11:00pm newscast, Evan produced 10TV's 5:30pm news, which was nominated for a regional Emmy for Best Political/Government Program. Before coming to WBNS, Evan produced the 5:00pm newscast for WSYR-TV in Syracuse, NY. During his tenure, the program earned two consecutive first place honors for Spot News Coverage from the New York State Associated Press, as well as an RTNDA Edward R. Murrow Award for Best Newscast.

Evan graduated from The Lawrenceville School and Syracuse University’s Newhouse and Maxwell Schools, where he earned degrees in broadcast journalism and political science, magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa. In addition to serving Road of Life, Evan is the chair of Marketing and Community Relations for The Columbus Jewish Federation's Young Adult Division.
