Paula McNicholas Dix is a retired professor of Public Relations and News Writing at the Ohio State University and at Capital University. She now spends her time serving as a member of the Women’s Board of the Arthritis Foundation of Central Ohio, as a member of the board for The Cradle Society, as a volunteer for The Pontifical College Josephinum, and as a volunteer for English as a Second Language, in addition to her position on Road of Life’s Communications Advisory Committee.
Before her retirement, Paula also taught at the Odense University (Odense, Denmark), The Wellington School (Columbus), and St. Benedict School (Chicago). Additionally, she worked in public relations as a manager and as a freelance consultant, and as a freelance writer.
Paula earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Ursuline College on a four-year, full-tuition academic scholarship, consistently qualifying for the Dean’s List. She graduated with a Master of Arts in Journalism from the Ohio State University in 1981.
