Road of Life would like to welcome the new Masters of Public Health (MPH) students who will be completing their practicum experience at the organization.
Cassie Whitehead, Susan Allerding, and Vedette Gavin will be expanding outreach strategies. Amira Elhagmusa will be aligning the Classroom Curriculum to various states content standards. The Ohio State University's College of Public Health exists for the improvement of the health of the public through the creation, dissemination, and application of knowledge. This program prepares students for the challenges of leadership and service in public health and related professions, adds to knowledge through basic and applied research, and serves the tradition of land-grant universities. ROL highly values the relationship with the College of Public Health and has continuously been able to work with students of the highest caliber. In the past, MPH students have developed ROL programs and conducted research. Road of Life was even featured in The Ohio State University College of Public Health 2006 - 2007 Annual Report Magazine. The article featured three Masters of Public Health (MPH) students who completed their field experiences, or practicum's, with ROL over the summer of 2007.
