In a continuous effort to increase the use of its free health education resources, Road of Life set a goal to serve 50,000 kids in the year 2008. This was an ambitious goal and represented a substantial expansion. Executive Director, Shane Hankins, and Director of Marketing and Outreach, Rosa Jung developed a new Outreach Plan that would target opinion leaders and fellow organizations that work hand in hand with kids.

The new Outreach Plan has proven to be very successful. The implementation started in February 2008 and with this new approach, ROL is now serving over 100,000 kids in 44 states. The total number of kids served for 2008 is over 75,000, well beyond the 50,000 goal mark. ROL is very excited with the immediate progress and would like to thank all the educators that downloaded the different programs to teach kids the importance of being healthy.
