Road of Life Receives Federal Grant Valued at $300,000 Print

Road of Life was recently awarded its first large grant through the Americorp Program. The grant, which is due to be disbursed, provides for the creation of five VISTA employee positions at Road of Life. These VISTAs (Volunteers In Service To America) are full-time staff members who are compensated with a salary, full health benefits, and credit for student loans. The grant is renewable for three years.
